Smith’s porches are designed and manufactured to individual requirements to suit your home and budget. Most porches can be built under permitted development, but should you need planning permission we can take care of the whole process for you
A porch is an ideal way to enhance the front aspect of your property, adding shape and character to an otherwise flat surface. They are also very practical, keeping the bad weather from your door and giving you that extra needed shape.
Ground Work
Groundwork can be undertaken if necessary with footings and a new base with a screed floor finish installed. However if we are removing an old porch it may be possible to reuse the existing base
Dwarf Walls
Dwarf wall models are popular, however you can choose from having uPVC panels or full glass depending how much light you require into your existing hall way.
The full choice of uPVC finishes are available including white, mahogany, rosewood or light oak. A composite door can be added for a little extra colour and of course if required they can be glazed from Pilkington’s extensive range of obscure glass or can have Georgian grilles or leaded lights to match the existing house.
Roof Designs
Roof designs are available in a variety of finishes to suit your property. From a flat felt roof, to a hipped tiled roof, the choice is yours.
